In 2007 Michael graduated as a professional dancer from the Royal Balletschool in Antwerp. After his education he recieved a contract for The Royal Ballet of Flanders but decided to further develop his skills outside classical dancing and he started to work more on his Hip hop and other styles. 

Meanwhile he worked as a freelancer dancer for national and international companies (e.g. Toyota, Nike, Puma, VRT, VTM...), several artists like Fawni, Pixie Lot, Anna Grace, Sandrine.. ,'Life in Motion' (Germany),The Ballet of Lausanne (Béjart), local and international premières ('HSM3, This is It...) and musicals (e.g. The Notre Dame de Paris)

In 2009, Michael participated in the Benelux version of the American television show: So You Think You Can Dance. He got his chance to work with National and International choreographers like Timor Seffens (SYTYCD finalist 2008), Travis Payne (Choreographer Michael Jackson), Kherington Payne (SYTYCD US - Fame). 

After beating 3.000 contestants, Michael reached top 3 and gave some extraordinary performances on television. He is now  developing his skills as a all around dancer and has build a strong reputation as a choreographer and teacher. He was asked to choreograph for the semi finale and finale of the Belgian television program Dancing with the Stars.
